Painting these cheap sexist WALS

All you Men out there and those who think you are,

http://shaveindia.com/pressrelease.php

This is a perfect example of how a multinational corporate entity pits the falsely perceived shallow opinions of one gender against the other to improve the sales of their consumer goods.

For generations this has been the way that opportunism has taken the guise of feminism to show the hard working male gender in poor light. This is how the female gender is encouraged to nurture a feeling of resentment towards men. For countless generations men have sacrificed their lives in countless professions, waged wars to protect themselves and their families, fought against the vagaries of nature to provide for their families. But see how a corporate entity tries to increase its brand image by calling men lazy just for not keeping a clean shaven image. This kind of stereotyping of the whole gender of men just to make an extra buck is downright shallow in its concept and disgusting in its approach. This corporate should note that there are millions of men worldwide who toil hard for their women and families, but cannot save enough money to fill their own stomach, much less think about shaving everyday. This corporate has also overlooked the fact that there are religions whose followers are men who are forbidden to shave their beards. This campaign is just a hate campaign against men. The irony is that they are selling products to men with such a campaign.

I call upon all men from all over the world and our women supporters over the world to show this corporate your disgust towards this campaign by boycotting its products, unless this corporate entity tenders an apology to all men in public and withdraws this campaign.

    To,

    Copy to Media Personnel,

    Hello all at Gillette,

I was amazed to see the way you intrude into peoples life and their privacy, just to push your sales. After I sent the below email protesting against Gillette India's WALS campaign(Women Against Lazy Stubble, as Gillette names it), I discovered that Gillette has been doing this to their customers across the world too, for years together.

Its a shame on your part to call all this by fancy names such as "Influencer Marketing" , when its actually "Intrusive Coercion" on your part.

I hereby boycott Gillette products for life, you will hear more from my friends who chose to do the same until you stop such uncouth sales tactics, be it women, be it a chip(Radio frequency Identification chips - RFID chips)

    Regards
    Gokul

  3. Ohhh u guys don't know how eager Gillette would be to get Men shaved all over their bodies(more blades consumed!)... that campaign is coming soon, and they will take support from some more body-waxing actresses that time too.

See their intent(at http://shaveindia.com/index.php): Women on the warpath!
Women from various cities across the country have decided to come out of their man's shadows. They have joined forces to form an active change group called W.A.L.S. - women against lazy stubble. These women, joined by glamorous leading ladies like Neha Dhupia,Minissha Lamba and Mugdha Godse, have a single point agenda - to get their man to shave and come clean! If they are doing so much to look after themselves, it's time men responded too!.

May be Stayfree will now come after men urging to wear their product!!!.

    Dear Gillettians,

Why don't you just name your stupid campaign "Show me the money, honey" or something and be
    honest about this whole thing.

    PATHETIC!!!

    Yours Stubblefully
    Gokul
